Palin for ‘Special Needs’ kids… means what exactly???

I know, I know, forget about her… the relationship is not going your way… she’s that gal referred to in Mathew Wilder’s 80’s classic “Break My Stride”… nobody’s gonna break her stride, nobody’s gonna slow her down, OH NO, she has to keep on move’n…

She’s the one that got away? Not really, more like the one who won’t go away.
I spent today trying to figure out, what are the ‘Special Needs’ specifics that Palin says she’s going to do? I know she says she’s a friend to ‘Special Needs’ children, but I don’t know just what that means? What has she purposed or plans to?

Just another thought… though many were pleased-as-punch that Palin came across as the most coherent she’s ever been during the debate, her winks and vernacular sort of disarmed the critical thinking. If you come across a debate transcript, and read their exact answers, you’ll be able to get a clearer picture on what sort of footing these two candidates are on. Here, for example, is how she responded to Biden’s comments about how the middle class has been short-changed during the Bush administration, and how McCain will continue Bush’s policies:

“Say it ain’t so, Joe, there you go again pointing backwards again. You preferenced [sic] your whole comment with the Bush administration. Now doggone it, let’s look ahead and tell Americans what we have to plan to do for them in the future. You mentioned education, and I’m glad you did. I know education you are passionate about with your wife being a teacher for 30 years, and god bless her. Her reward is in heaven, right? … My brother, who I think is the best schoolteacher in the year, and here’s a shout-out to all those third graders at Gladys Wood Elementary School, you get extra credit for watching the debate.”

It’s so easy to say, “Special Needs” kids because, well, kids don’t vote and it stirs emotion. It’s parents who vote. Parents who would still like to put their children through college… Isn’t Levi a high school drop-out? None of her kids are in college, and one of her teens is having a child out of wedlock… I don’t get it… what is she going to do for the country? I mean, if you can’t tend to the kids around you, I don’t see how you can implement all these grand policies that I haven’t been able to find specifics on.

The next time you see some audience clap wildly to Palin saying the phrase “Special Needs” ask yourself this… what are this idiots clapping about?

I’ll clap when she goes back to Alaska and tends to her kids.

ps… never forget about Katrina… how in the hell could we ever rebuild Iraq if we can’t even rebuild New Orleans…. GOP platform is such a mess.

Palin has just come out referring to Obama as ‘paling’ around with terrorists. Why the hell did we give this woman the time of day… she’s a fruit cake!

If ‘Special Needs’ adults can marry, pay taxes, receive health benefits, and all those other benefits regular ‘Joe and Jane Six Packs’ receive… where does ‘Special Needs’ adults who define themselves as homosexuals end up?  I find it odd that gay and lesbian adults who may site their sexual orientation as being staged from birth are considered deviants who have made a lifestyle choice, unworthy of typical human rights, where as ‘Special Needs’ individuals trump those of homosexuals, as long as their sexualities are not defined.
I think I’m gonna get sick…
